Goa is a world apart and is a melting pot of different cultures. So, Dudhsagar Falls is situated in a district called Sonaulim in Goa. At a height of 320m, it makes for a visual treat. You can go for a jeep ride to Dudhsagar or take a trek to Tambdi Surla Waterfalls as well, another popular spot in Goa.
Another must-visit place is the Basilica of Bom Jesus. With its baroque style architecture and the nature of its history (its 400 years old! Which makes it one of the oldest churches in the world), it’s a rare find!
4. Manali
Manali is a popular hill town known for its scenic views of the Himalayas. The Solang Valley and Rohtang Pass offer a fantastic view of the Himalayas. At Naggar castle, experience the old-world rustic charm that it has, which makes it alluring for just about every traveller. Go to Hidimba Temple and witness rich Indian traditions and rituals in the land of the gods. If you are culturally inclined, make sure to visit Roerich Art Gallery and get a feel of the water sprays and eclectic atmosphere while you warm up your soul. 6. Kolkata

An absolute must-visit is the Victoria Memorial, entirely made out of marble; it dates back to the early nineteenth century, built at the time in the memory of Queen Victoria. Fast forward a bit, and somewhere around 1935, the Howrah Bridge was built connecting Howrah to Kolkata. This intimidating structure, made of crisscrossing steel beams, is one of the busiest bridges in India. If that does not satiate your touristy appetite, visit Eden Gardens and watch a cricket match, or just walk along Park Street in the heart of the city to experience “The Real” Kolkata. The iconic Park Street is famous for its fine restaurants, shopping at Chowringhee market, and an active nightlife.
7. Mysore
With the palace city of Mysore comes its eclectic attractions like the Mysore Palace, Mysore Zoo, Shri Chamundeshwari Temple, and the Brindavan Gardens. This quaint city in South India was known for its royalty and tea plantations and was originally the capital of the Kingdom of Mysore. Housing some of the ancient and historical pieces of architecture like the Chamundeshwari Temple, it gives you a unique vantage point to get a view of the city, including the Mysore Palace lit up in the evenings. It has the revered Nandi temple too, a religious conclave which is revered by many to present.
