Everest Base Camp
If you’re in Nepal and an experienced trekker, you must head over to this one. From giving you closer views of the world’s highest peak to checking out lovely turquoise waters from the Gokyo Ri viewpoint, you are bound to fall in love with the beauty of Nepal’s signature trek. Consider your path to be filled with adorable views of Sherpa villages and gorgeous sunsets that look straight out of a movie.
Ghorepani/Poon Hill
This one is for beginners. A less-challenging trek that is available all year round, the Ghorepani route is almost circular and runs like a loop. Leading up to Poon Hill, you will get to experience hot springs and interesting villages as part of your trip. And the reward for reaching all the way to the top lies in the picturesque sunset that you get to witness from the top of the Poon Hill peak.
Annapurna Sanctuary
With legendary stories that claim the divine presence of goddesses Annapurna and Gangapurna there, this trek will leave you spellbound with its natural beauty. Starting out from Pokhara, your trail will allow you to check out the Gurung villages at lower altitudes. A short trek that takes about nine days, the Jumla-Rara trail is set in the wild west of Nepal. It promises to show you a chain of six lakes that not only have the clearest waters that mirror your reflection but also consist of the highest freshwater lake system in the world.
The Royal Trek
This trail gets its name from the 1980s visit of Prince Charles. The Prince of Wales climbed through rice fields and bamboo forests in the region with 90 friends of his at the time. Similar to the Poon Hill trek, The Royal trek too, is perfect for older visitors or beginner trekkers. It offers its best views between October to November or March to June thanks to clear skies and lake views.
Langtang Valley
Even after being hit severely in the 2015 earthquake that shook Nepal, the Langtang Valley was quickly restored and brought back to its original, beautiful state. The trek is closest to Kathmandu and a relatively shorter one too. It can be completed in about a week and comprises sceneries including oak trees and beautiful holy Buddhist shrines.

It’s one of Nepal’s secrets that has been gaining a lot of popularity in recent times.
